TIP OFF CLUB NEWS 3/20/05 It is with deep sadness that we share the sad news that Robin Hunt passed away yesterday after a long and courageous bout with cancer. Robin was the mother of Natalie, a freshman player on this year's Girls Varsity Team, and Brandon (formerly a member of the Walton Junior Raider and Freshmen teams). We hope you'll remember Robin in your prayers, and be thinking about Brandon and Natalie during this sad and difficult time. Many have inquired about how to help the Hunt children. A Trust Fund has been set up for Natalie and Brandon Hunt. The Walton Raiders Basketball Closing Banquet will be held on Sunday, February 27th, at UPSCALES (in the Sports Authority Shopping Center at the corner of Roswell and Abernathy Roads in Sandy Springs). The top sellers for the awards are as follows: (1) Chris Anderson 87 (2) Morgan Johnson 55 (3) Shane Stamps 36 Great job! REMINDER: Funds for all game travel gear and game shoes is due ASAP to the coaches or to Danny Johnston. Schedule change: Dec. 13 is new date for games against Wheeler. Also, the Freshman and JV games with Pope for December 13 have been changed.
