2005 CAMP INFORMATION--BOYS Important Boy's Summer Activities Dates and Information: ********************************************************************************************** Walton Boy's Basketball One Day Shootout--Thursday, June 23, 2005 9AM to 2:30 PM Dickerson Middle School For rising 6th to 9th Graders Five on Five / Three on Three Tournaments Skill work Contests Bring sack lunch--Drinks will be provided Phone registration and walk up registration Call 770-578-3225 Ext. 263 or 404-578-7549 ( leave campers name and grade) COST $ 45.00 ************************************************************************************************** May 24-25-26 Summer Practice--for grades 9th thru 12th--for those wanting to participate in summer activities 6:00 pm - -9:00 pm May 26-27-28 -Junior Varsity Team Camp at South Cobb HS Cost $ 25.00 June 3-4-5 Varsity team camp at Cherokee HS--Varsity players Cost $35.00 Friday June 3rd 7:00 pm vs.Gilmer County, 9:00 pm vs. North Cobb Saturday June 4th 12:00 vs. Pope Saturday--Two more games TBD Sunday--Two games TBD June 8 (Wed.) Varsity at North Springs HS-- Two games against North Springs and Riverwood Varsity Game times will be 7:00 and 8:00 pm. June 11th 12:00 noon vs. Harrison Main Gym June 11 - 14 Team Camp at University Tennessee at Chattanooga--(Coach recommendation) Cost $ 220.00 (approx) Includes cost of camp,room and board, and transportation (Scroll to bottom of this page for a flyer with more information) We will play both individual Varsity and Junior Varsity games throughout the summer as scheduled. Check basketball board in Mezzanine for more info and sign ups. ********************************************************************************************** WALTON BOY’S BASKETBALL SUMMER CAMP AT DICKERSON MIDDLE SCHOOL May 31st to June 3rd Session I- Rising 4th - 6th graders 10:00 AM to 12:30 Session II- Rising 7th - 9th graders 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM Cost: $ 85.00 This camp will concentrate on the development of offensive and defensive fundamentals and shooting. Activities will include ball-handling drills, (dribbling-passing and catching) shooting and individual and team defensive concepts. We will also have individual and team competitions. I will not hold liable Walton High School, Dickerson MS, this camp, or any of it's agents for accidents or injury that may occur during participation in this Camp. __________________________________ (camper parent or guardian) ************************************************************************************************** UTC Team Camp Information June 11-14, 2005 Leave Walton: about 4:00 PM on Saturday afternoon (6/11/05) Return to Walton: Mid/Late afternoon on Tuesday (6/14/05) Travel in passenger vans driven by coaches Contact # at UTC –1-877-425-5342—Basketball office at UTC Players will stay in 4 man apartments located on UTC campus- They will have strict curfews and not be allowed to leave campus unsupervised. All will receive three meals a day in School Cafeteria Spending money for Pizzas at night and snacks (not too much) Bring bed linens and bathroom items Bring lots of socks. Do not over pack- All Walton Code of Conduct rules apply If anyone violates rules- they will be disciplined and worst case scenario-Sent home- My cell # is 404-578-7549 for emergencies We will call on our way home to let you know when to pick up We have always had a great time at camp and I am looking forward to a great trip this year!
